At one stage Tamal Krishna Goswami told Srila Prabhupada that he was so disturbed by all the complications here that he could not chant properly. And Srila Prabhupada replied, ‘I know how you feel—I feel the same way.’ This is transcendental anxiety. Impersonalists want peace (santi santi); they want to merge and become one—but devotees struggle for guru and Krishna. His Holiness Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Swami Maharaja said to Srila Prabhupada, ‘I have just one department—Bhaktivedanta Institute—and there are so many difficulties and problems. And you have a whole worldwide movement—I can’t even imagine how you deal with all the problems. Srila Prabhupada replied, ‘Problems? I don’t see any problems.
