The festival includes bhajans, an introductory talk and a lecture by Giriraj Maharaja, Arotik and guru-puja to Srila Prabhupada and Giriraj Maharaja, footbathing, puspa-puja, kirtan and feast.

A biographical film on the life of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, a spiritual teacher from Bengal who at the age of seventy traveled to America and started the worldwide Hare Krishna movement.

It focuses on his life in India before his historic journey and ends with his departure for America. This is the story of a mission, given to him by his spiritual master, and his struggle to fulfill that mission.

This DVD contains a compilation of existing footage and some never before seen footage of Srila Prabhupda in Bombay including several pandal programs and a ground breaking ceremony.

The footage is accompanied by selections of songs about Srila Prabhupada by various Vaishnava musicians/composers/performers with narration by Giriraj Swami.

Giriraj Swami was one of the primary forces behind the Bombay temple project where he served selflessly for many years.
